Where conciliation fails, the judicial officer may be given the task of executing:

  • a court decision,
  • a constraint issued by an administrative authority
  • a notary’s deed.

  • It may also involve forcing someone to pay a sum of money or to fulfil other obligations. For example:

  • carrying out remedial work in a construction project that was not properly executed;
  • pruning a tree following a neighbourhood dispute,
  • expelling squatters from a building,
  • taking children away from a parent after a breach of custody,
  • etc.

  • In the case of sums of money due, INTERMEDIANCE will do its best to prevent foreclosure, something which only happens very rarely (after repeated conciliation attempts have failed).
